eGift Card Terms and Conditions

The following are the terms and conditions applicable to The Body Shop Australia eGift Cards.


The Body Shop Australia eGift Cards ("eGift Cards") are redeemable at all The Body Shop stores within Australia and online at eGift Cards are not redeemable through The Body Shop At Home. Not redeemable for cash. No change will be given. All gift cards expire 12 months from the date of issue. Any unused balance will not be refunded or credited when the card expires. Where the cost of the purchase exceeds the available card balance, the card holder will be required to make up the difference with an alternate form of payment. eGift cards should be treated like cash. The Body Shop disclaims any responsibility for lost or stolen cards.


eGift Cards may not be redeemed for the purchase of products from any other person or entity other than The Body Shop Australia. eGift Cards cannot be used to purchase other eGift Cards. eGift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value or redeemed for cash. Unused eGift Card balances in a The Body Shop Australia account may not be transferred to another The Body Shop Australia account.

Risk of Loss

The risk of loss and title for eGift Cards pass to the purchaser upon our payment transmission of the eGift Card to the purchaser or designated recipient, or our delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable. We are not responsible if any eGift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission.


We will have the right to close customer accounts and bill alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained eGift Card is redeemed and/or used to make purchases from The Body Shop Australia.

Limitation of Liability

We make no warranties, express or implied, with respect to eGift Cards, including without limitation, any express or implied warranty of merchant ability or fitness for a particular purpose in the event an eGift Card is not functional, your sole remedy, and our sole liability will be the replacement of such eGift Card.
