After Shaving

Ok so we doubt you have time for a daily extensive wet-shaving routine, but knowing the basics of a good shave is important. Follow these three steps: Shower first to help your pores expand and wash with a gentle cleanser to soften the hairs and prevent redness and irritation. Use plenty of shaving cream and use light strokes with your razor.

Use a Moisturiser

They say that eyes are the window to your soul, but unfortunately they’re also a mirror to your age. The skin around the eyes is extremely delicate and prone to creasing. Help keep wrinkles at bay by using a firming eye cream every morning and night.

Don't forget to exfoliate

Exfoliating removes dead skill cells, which leaves your face & body feeling soft and smooth, also improves skin texture and tone, and gives brighter, more radiant look. Use a face scrub on a Monday morning to scrub the weekend off your face (only use once a week as facial skin is sensitive), and a body mitt with your shower gel to smooth and stimulate circulation.

Keep Your Hands in Tip Top Shape

Wash your hands frequently, and use hand lotion to prevent them feeling like sandpaper. Regularly trim and file your nails, and check for dirt throughout the day.

Look After Your Lips

Your lips can suffer all year round as the sun dries them out and the cold weather can cause them to chap. Our top men’s grooming tip for kissable lips? Use a lip balm regularly. But use sparingly as you don’t want to look like you’re wearing lip gloss.

Use Products for your Hair Type

If you have short, fine hair and want to add volume and texture, we recommend waxes & gels – avoid heavier products, like creams and non-water-based pomades, as they'll weigh hair down. Never slap product straight onto your hair; put some in your palm and rub hands together, then apply. Thick hair suits waxes, but not if it’s curly as it tends to clump, so use a pomade.
