The Body Shop is proud to partner with The Reach Foundation for our anti-bullying campaign – ‘You are better than Bullying’. Together we want to raise awareness of bullying, an understanding of the impact and a movement away from this type of behaviour.

About The Reach Foundation

Reach is a for-purpose youth organisation, supporting young people to get the most out of life. Reach aims to improve the wellbeing of young people so they can be healthy and resilient to meet life's challenges. Each year, 50,000 young people aged 10-18 experience Reach workshops, run in schools and communities. Any young person who wants to get more from life is welcome at Reach.

With the topic of bullying prevalent in today’s society, and Activate Self Esteem one of The Body Shop’s five core values, the opportunity to partner with The Reach Foundation, make a positive statement and encourage a movement away from this type of behaviour was one we felt empowered to execute.

Facts and figures

  • Approximately 1 in 4 students are affected by bullying
  • Peers are present as onlookers in 87% of bullying interactions
  • Young people who bully have a 25% chance of having a criminal record by the age of 30
