Shipping
Standard Delivery
Currently, we offer standard delivery at a flat fee of AU$8.95 (incl.GST). Orders over $79 in product value will be delivered free of shipping charge and sent via our standard delivery service.
Express Delivery
We are now offering express delivery at a flat fee of AU$14.95 (incl.GST) except orders to Queensland, Western Australia, and Northern Territory at a flat fee of AU$15.95 (incl.GST). Please select your preferred delivery option at checkout.
Delivery
Dispatch Estimation
All goods are dispatched from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and are delivered by Australia Post. Most orders are dispatched from our warehouse within 24 hours if you placed your order on a business day. If you place your order over a weekend or on a public holiday it will be processed and sent out over the following business days.
Delivery Options
Upon dispatch we will send you a notification email and your order should arrive within 1-5 business days for standard delivery and 1-3 business days for express delivery. Please note it can take longer to QLD, NT, WA, remote and regional areas. Please note that we rely on our delivery partners to successfully deliver within their recommended service time frames.
Express Delivery
If all the items you ordered are in stock at the time of purchase, and you have placed your order before 10AM, you can expect your order to be dispatched the same day. If your order was placed after 10AM, and all items are available, your order will be dispatched next business day.
Returns
We believe strongly in our products and their quality and want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you're disappointed in any way, or if you receive a damaged, faulty or incorrect product, please contact us within 30 days of purchase via email at customercare@thebodyshop.com.au.
Refunds and Exchange
Refunds will be made to the original method of payment, excluding delivery costs unless the item is faulty or you received an incorrect order. We cannot accept returns on gift cards, sale items, or discontinued clearance items, unless they are damaged or faulty. We cannot offer refunds for change of mind.
We're happy to offer an exchange or refund on any current product or gift, as long as it's in its original condition (unopened and unused), you're within 30 days of purchase, and you have a valid proof of purchase (such as a receipt or invoice).
If you don’t have proof of purchase, we may still offer an exchange for another product or gift card of equivalent current value, at our discretion.
Please note, we’re unable to accept returns on discontinued clearance items.
Gift cards are non-refundable, as outlined in the terms and conditions printed on the card.
Your product can only be returned in the country it was purchased.
All The Body Shop products purchased from third-party retailers must be returned or refunded directly through the original place of purchase. We are unable to process returns, exchanges, or refunds for products not purchased directly from The Body Shop Australia (in-store or online).
Goods purchased online at www.thebodyshop.com.au can be returned either via post or in-store.
In-store Returns
If returning to store, please bring your proof of purchase (either a store receipt or online invoice). Without it, the store may not be able to process your exchange or refund.
Postal Returns
If returning via post, please contact our Customer Care team prior to sending the goods back. The following information is required when returning your goods via post:
- It may take up to 10 days for your parcel to reach us
- Returned items will be processed within two (2) working days of receipt
- Reasonable care must be taken when packaging the parcel and returning it so that goods are not damaged in transit
- You are advised to use a carrier that offers both traceability and insurance
