"I have used this for years and keep rebuying. I slather my hair in it for 5 mins (mostly the ends and my frizzy sides) and then shampoo and condition. It has a fresh coconut smell rather than the sickly sweet smell of some coconut hand creams, etc. I think it makes a difference in how shiny my hair looks and how it helps reduce frizz."

"Most styling products that I have tried looked nice in the morning but became crispy and dry later in the day; they also damaged my hair in the long-run; and some are obscenely expensive. This is my product. I use it as a leave-in treatment to style my curls - I have a perm so they need a lot of extra love - and it keeps them smooth, shiny, and free-flowing all day. They also come out of the shower baby-soft. I don’t need to use much of this oil to have an effect, so it is definitely cost-effective too! It does have drawbacks! Being oil, you must wash it off before bed, else it will leave stains on your pillowcases (a brief, warm evening shower is fine) and it has an odd metallic scent when applied. I am unsure if this goes away when it dries, but I do wish that The Body Shop fixed its formula and/or offered other varieties than just coconut."
